Heaven was a short film that I made for a contest at my middle school. To my knowledge, it was never shown. I'm not sure that the contest took place. Heaven was originally released on YouTube on February 1, 2007. Two days afterwards, my parents told me my brother was dead. No one at school mentioned anything about Heaven.

Taking inspiration from David Lynch's Eraserhead and Twin Peaks, Heaven depicts a conversation with a spirit. "Heaven is in you," the spirit says. "You are wasting. Come see." The spirit provides the protagonist with a dark liquid, a potion that the protagonist pours over their own head, arms raised to the sky in anticipation of an alternative plane of existence.
